Tech Bulletin – Stages of Remediation

Summary:

This technical bulletin shows how molecular biological tools can be integrated throughout the stages of remediation (site characterization, remedy selection, performance monitoring, and closure) to improve confidence in bioremediation decisions. It highlights the use of qPCR, QuantArray®, in situ microcosms, and stable isotope probing to reduce uncertainty, optimize remedies, and support transition to monitored natural attenuation (MNA).
